Development day Football schoolFPN | NEXTLEVEL DEVELOPMENT DAY 7-14 YEARS
for those who want quality!
The camp is suitable for boys and girls between the ages of 7-14 who want to develop as a footballer. Where our PT sessions focus on developing individual and relational skills, our Campers will have a greater focus on developing relational and structural skills.
FPN brings together players from many different clubs and areas in the country, which provides a unique opportunity to bond with other like-minded people. The content of the programme, as well as the coaching team, varies from time to time. Our effective training methods and theory-based skills development give you the development you deserve. And as we have relatively small groups, you will receive closer follow-up and guidance on performance!
We stretch you by challenging you to do more than you otherwise feel capable of!
Our trainers
You will be trained by top qualified coaches with specialized expertise in player development. We are keen to create a stimulating development environment, and come across as dedicated and energetic in a positive and enthusiastic way.
Goals of the program
We want to contribute to the increased development of Norwegian football. Our main goal is to provide you with valuable learning and development, so that you can experience more joy and mastery on the football field. We develop all skills and characteristics, both through practice and theory.
Methodology
The training is designed to make maximum use of the time and give you the necessary amount of touch on the ball. The principles are about putting yourself in situations that are match-specific, so that you can develop both skills and understanding in a climate that is close to the match itself. What is important is to understand what a good choice is, and master a good choice when things are going fast and in tight situations. We focus on complexity, intensity, pace of the ball, match-like movements, body positioning, and "seek" skill, all required to improve your skills.
We want to create groups that are as homogeneous as possible, so that everyone experiences both challenge and mastery. Therefore, we differentiate the groups based on age, level and physical maturity.

SPEED 9-16 years
TEETH SPEED
Halgeir Martinsen
TEETH SPEED
Learn how to become a faster soccer player
This Camp is designed to develop your football-specific speed.
We use state-of-the-art technology, including video analysis and laser equipment, to ensure we give our athletes the best training possible. The training is led by Carsten Effertz from Tanner Speed Academy, an expert in football-specific speed training with extensive experience. The drills he uses aim to improve acceleration, resilience, explosiveness, reaction time and quickness in changes of direction - all important skills in football.
With approx. 1100 starting movements per match, both with and without rotational movement, linear or lateral, cross running, backwards, diagonally and sideways, there are many types of movements that must be trained thoroughly. Special emphasis is placed on the "first" step with and without the ball, as this is often decisive for winning in football.
Speed is an important factor in football and depends on the ability to change direction quickly with quick, explosive and reactive movements in tight spaces. This requires more than 50 rapid changes of direction at maximum pace per match.
To ensure that each player receives a customized training, we analyze their running technique and provide personalized tips and advice for improvements that can make them even faster. As part of this offer, each player will also receive the Tanner Speed Golden 8, a valuable resource for further training and development.
Tanner Speed is a recognized player in speed training for football players. Carsten Effertz, who runs the concept, is based in Prioritet Serneke Arena in Gothenburg. He offers two different concepts for athletes at different levels: Speed Day and Speed Advanced. Both programs focus on improving the athletes' speed, acceleration, agility, reaction time and ability to change direction quickly and explosively - all of which are important for success in football.
Speed Day is an introductory program that gives athletes a thorough introduction to the Tanner Speed Method and the techniques used in football speed training. The program is suitable for all levels of soccer players, from beginners to more experienced players who want to improve their skills. At Speed Day, athletes will have access to state-of-the-art technology and tools used in soccer speed training, and will learn from a coach with extensive experience and expertise. This program provides a solid platform to build on, preparing athletes for more advanced techniques and training offered in Speed Advanced.
Speed Advanced is an advanced training program tailored for football players who already have experience with the Tanner Speed Method and want to take their training to the next level. This program challenges the athletes at a higher intensity and gives them the opportunity to practice more advanced techniques and exercises. The program will challenge the athletes both physically and mentally, and help them take their speed a step further.
We recommend that soccer players interested in the Tanner Speed Method start with Speed Day a few times before enrolling in Speed Advanced. This provides athletes with a thorough introduction to the methods and techniques used in soccer speed training and prepares them for the more advanced training offered in Speed Advanced. No matter what level of training you choose, Tanner Speed will help you improve your soccer speed and reach your full potential on the field.

HALLGEIR MARTINSEN
Learn how to become a faster soccer player
Hallgeir Martinsen specializes in speed for soccer players. Hallgeir is an active athlete and is at the top of Norway in the 100m and 200m sprints. In addition, he is a qualified physical education teacher, and teaches students in athletics at Norway's Sports Academy, and trains physical education teachers. At this event, you can be sure that your players will learn new and effective methods to become faster on the football pitch.
Some of these topics will be completed on a crash course with Hallgeir:
Acceleration and maximum speed training:
The session for acceleration will consist of specific training to improve the acceleration of the players. Acceleration tells you something about how quickly you move from a standstill to reached top speed, i.e. how many meters per second. second you move. The acceleration phase for a sprinter is from 0-30m, but for younger untrained footballers it is reasonable to assume that this phase is closer to 0-15/20m. This is because the top speed is lower, and you achieve top speed faster. Being able to move faster in the first 20m in football is very important when, for example, picking up the ball/opponent, breakthrough runs and first balls. The maximum speed training will give players insight into how they can train to increase their top speed. Here, the number of metres, breaks and repetitions are important to know correctly in order to actually develop your top speed. Studies show that you have to reach at least 95-98% of maximum effort to develop speed, and this is challenging if you do not have knowledge of how to put this into a system.
Football related speed
In this course, both sessions will be related to speed, which is specifically aimed at the movement pattern we have in football. In the training doctrine, we have six training principles and the "principle of specificity" is one of these. We have to practice what we want to be good at. Here, the players are given a series of exercises that they know will make them better at running 5 and 10 meters, with and without a change of direction, as well as lateral displacement, all of which are movements that are widely used on a football pitch.
Soccer-related running endurance and mobility
The first session of this course is about building endurance which is aimed at soccer. In technical terms, this is called "sprint endurance". Studies show that at a high level in football there are 40-60 repeated 30 meter sprints. At the same time, you also see in the Premier League that the players perform fewer and fewer "power runs" in a football match, especially in the last 15 minutes compared to the first 15 minutes, and at the same time you see that the "recovery time" between each move increases. This session is designed to repeat 40-50 m sprints with a lot of volume to build exactly this endurance. In session two, the focus will be on pure mobility training. What many people do not know is that if you are too stiff (especially in the hamstrings) you will not be able to run as fast/technically correctly as it is mechanically impossible due to too stiff muscles. At the same time, it is injury-preventive to be more flexible/softer, and the aim is to teach the players how to carry out such mobility sessions.
Resilience/dynamic strength (special strength) and hill running
In short, speed is about step frequency x step length. The frequency is innate, as these are nerve impulses and we have the greatest influence on stride length. Therefore, speed is about how much power and how quickly you manage to apply this power to the ground. Resilience training (special strength) is an excellent form of training to develop this explosive power, but also the resilience which is essential for footballers in duel games. The second session of the day will consist of ground running. This is an extremely effective form of training for building running capacity and strength. By running uphill, you reach a high intensity, and the body has to adapt to this. Furthermore, running uphill is gentle on the knees and back, while at the same time building strength when running uphill. The players will gain knowledge of how to structure a hill running session. Studies have shown that 6 hill runs provide a better training effect than a 1-hour jog. This has to do with intensity, and affects O2 uptake, anaerobic threshold (acid threshold), degree of utilization of O2 and improves aerobic capacity (fitness).

Part 4
Mentality
for those who want quality!
On Hallgeir's courses, we go through the following topics, among other things:
Coping vs. achievement and goal setting
First lecture on coping vs. Performance, the players will learn something about how we as athletes can think (orientation) in order to get the most out of our training, and increase the likelihood of performing to the maximum in each training, standing up to adversity and focusing on themselves and their own development as a player , and thus preserve/build self-confidence in the training work. We know that setting good goals is one of the best motivational strategies we have for development. Setting good goals will be crucial to knowing what you need to work on, as well as when. By having a good structure in the goal-setting work, it is also easier to know what you are working towards and thus carry out the necessary training.
Visualization and inner dialogue
The lecture on visualization will explain what visualization is, and we will practice how we can implement this in practice. 99.8% of all Olympic athletes report that they use visualization in their training work, and we know that this is a powerful tool for building self-confidence, mastery belief, but can also be used in learning new techniques and for healing injuries. Studies actually show that healing of injuries happens faster when you visualize the healing of the injured areas. Inner dialogue is another tool we can use to build self-confidence and mastery beliefs. Most of the thoughts we have are unconscious, and we humans are programmed to think about worries, and this "train of thought" often leaves the station without us realizing it. Here the players will learn more about becoming aware of these thoughts, and how to work with them.
Self-confidence and coping with sports-related stress
The lectures this day will focus on what self-confidence is, how it differs from self-esteem, but also how you can work on self-confidence through simple exercises. Furthermore, the second lecture will go a little more in depth on what stress is, set in a sporting context , also called voltage level. Many athletes experience coping with physical stress before competition etc. when you have learned more about what happens in the body and why it happens. Furthermore, the players are given exercises on how to control the tension, both up and down.
Sleep and restitution
The sleep lecture will give the players knowledge about, among other things, how important sleep is for recovery and performance, as well as the acquisition of new motor skills. We will also go into what recovery is, and what steps you can take to optimize this for yourself. A trap many people fall into is that they train far too hard, often over a longer period of time, and do not understand why they do not get better, faster, stronger. The body is not a machine, and it is important to find a balance between exercise and rest. The older, stronger and heavier we get, the more important it becomes to have knowledge about this. Unfortunately, overtraining and, in the worst case, burnout take the toll on many athletes.
