Football Progression Norway (FPN) has developed some guidelines to ensure that all players and parents who participate in our activities experience a safe, controlled and high-quality football experience. These guidelines are based on Fair Play values and aim to create a positive and developing environment for young footballers. By following these guidelines, everyone involved contributes to creating an atmosphere that promotes learning, respect and enjoyment of football.

Guidelines for Guardians

1. Location and Distance

Guardians must stay off the pitch during training and activities. This ensures that the players and coaches get the necessary peace of mind and concentration. By respecting this limit, parents contribute to a more focused training environment.

2. Communication during Sessions

To maintain focus and concentration, we ask parents to minimize communication with the players during the sessions. This gives the coaches the opportunity to lead the activities effectively and the players to immerse themselves in the training.

3. Positive Attitudes

We encourage parents to show good attitudes and values. Praise and encouragement for good performance is welcome, as this helps to build self-confidence and security in the players, which is crucial for their development and progress.

Expectations for Players

1. Preparations and Punctuality

We expect players to be changed and ready when the session starts, preferably 15 minutes before. This shows respect for coaches and fellow players. Always remember shin pads and a drinking bottle.

2. Effort and willingness to learn

Players should show maximum effort, focus and presence during training. We value a strong will to learn and expect everyone to be self-motivated and genuinely interested in developing as footballers.

3. Behavior and Attitudes

Good behavior and positive attitudes are essential. Show respect and kindness to coaches and fellow players. Give praise to your teammates for creating a good experience for everyone. We have zero tolerance for bullying and racism.

4. Security and Liability

Players must not leave the training area without permission. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the trainers. Valuables can be delivered to the trainers for safe keeping during training.
