Football Progression Norway has drawn up its own guidelines and requirements that apply to children and guardians who participate in activities with us.

The purpose of these guidelines is to ensure that everyone who participates in our activities can do so within a safe and controlled framework, as well as to ensure that the sessions maintain top quality, and that all activities are based on our values which are in line with the Fair Play values.

Parents

Location: Keep your distance from the sessions being conducted. We do not allow parents to stand on the pitch. Parents who wish to watch the sessions must stay outside the field.

Peace of mind: We want as little communication as possible between the players and parents when the sessions are underway. We want the coaches and the players to be able to maintain proper concentration throughout the sessions.

Positive attitudes and values: We encourage all parents to show good attitudes and values towards their own and other children's children who attend FPN. It is only permitted to give praise and encouragement for good performance. This creates security and self-confidence in the player, which is crucial to being able to make progress.

Players/participants

  • We prefer that you are fully changed and ready when the session starts. This is about having respect for both the trainer and the other participants. We recommend being on the track at least 15 minutes before the session starts.
  • Use calf skins in all our training sessions.
  • Always have a drinking bottle with you during training and take them with you out on the field. Drink during hospital breaks.
  • Deliver your best in terms of focus, presence and effort. In this way, you make both you and your fellow players even better.
  • Show willingness to learn. We expect everyone who comes to FPN activities to be self-motivated and genuinely interested in learning
  • Good behavior and attitude. Coaches and fellow players must be met with kindness and respect.
  • You must deal with your FPN comrades like a real comrade. If you give a lot of praise, everyone will have a good experience.
  • We have zero tolerance for bullying and racism. Failure to comply will, in the worst case, lead to exclusion from all FPN activity.
  • As a participant in an FPN activity, you must not move away from the area without having cleared this with the course manager. If you have questions or concerns, you can talk to the trainers, they are here to help you.
  • Valuables (money, mobile phone, etc.) can be delivered to one of the trainers, so we avoid valuables being lost or destroyed.
